As some of you may know, the revised statutory Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework will be effective from 1st September 2021. These changes are being made to improve outcomes at age 5 (particularly in early language and literacy), and reduce workload such as unnecessary paperwork, so that more time can be spent with children.

Our short courses have been reviewed and updated (where needed) to reflect these changes, and we made the decision to make these relevant updates before September so that early years practitioners have the summer to familiarise themselves with the new guidance, and nursery leaders and managers can start planning how to implement any necessary changes for the 2021-2022 academic year and beyond.
